I'm going back to MUDding.
MUD stands for Multi-User Dungeon, Dimension, or Domain. It's a multiplayer real-time virtual world described primarily in texts and some ascii arts. It combines role playing, hack and slash, player vs player, interactive fiction, and online chat. There are absolutely no graphics, you can read descriptions of rooms, or other characters, and you type in commands. For example, to trip another character, or char, you type "kick 'character's name'".
Oh...it's so much fun!
I remember when I used to skip school just to be home for the big online quests. Just to obtain a token or a rare item.
