Day 05: Places You Have Been
This is a really bad picture.
Anyways, I went to Hong Kong for a huge Asian Pacific Volleyball Tournament
I got recruited into the national team for Saipan.
We slept at Hong Kong International School for a week with the other teams
This school was unbelievably big.
It was like a hotel!
We got third place in the tournament btw!
I was the youngest player. Woohoo.
Our 6th grade class went to Japan.
It was uber fun.
All slept at this Youth Hostel. Public Baths.
Planetariums. Made our own fans.
Took pictures with Geishas.
I've been to Miyazaki, Fukuoka, Oita, Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido and Nagasaki in Japan.
8th grade graduation trip to China. Went to Xi'an, Guangzhou and Beijing.
Great wall of China was pretty tight.
Ate the craziest food out there.
I then went back to Hong Kong and China with my bestfriend and stayed our there for 3 weeks just exploring their culture.
Close-Up program I went on during my Freshmen year in highschool.
We went to Houston, Pearl Harbor, Philadelphia, NYC, Williamsburg and Washington DC.
It was a program for students who were interested in political science.
You meet up with students from all over the world and explore the capital, the congress, history of America, and all the school stuff you learned in American History class.
We got to go in the capital and also sit in an UN meeting.
The picture below is from my all time favorite trip - Senior trip to Space camp and Disney World.
We had to make our own bottle rockets with applied science that we learned from Space Camp.
I believe mine flew backwards.
MOCR or Mission Operation Control Room.
This is where we control the shuttle out in space and do the whole "T-minus" shit.
We were also trained how to fly fighter jets.
Then we had some simulated fighter jet combats after we were done with training.
This was the best part of the camp.
Training for some axis stuff. I forgot what it was.
But basically, you don't get sick cause your center of gravity is locked in one spot.
This is the pretend outer space area.
MS or Mission Specialists practice fixing satellites and dock to space stations
OoOoooooh I have this on DVD
Area 51 training. It felt like one of those "real world battles" or "battle of the sexes"
We had to jump from one log to the other, roll, build, duck, dive, climb, fall.
Space Camp habitat aka "dorm" where we slept.
Where we slept with kids from different countries.
Fun times.
I just checked online. They have space camp for adults. -grin-
Hell yeah. I'm going back!
Anyways, after a week at Space Camp, we had a week at Disney World.
YES program at Disney World. Youth Educated Series.
We got to go behind the stage and blah blaaaahhh
Went to all of the Kingdoms.
Slept at one of their awesome Disney World hotels.
Everything was paid for btw.
Government paid for our plane ticket, spending money, and food!
On top of that, we didn't know that they would pay so we did loads of fundraisers.
Money we raised turned into more spending money.
Our whole class shopped like ballers.
Rented 3 Escalades in Houston and rode it to the mall.

I think that's about it with my traveling highlights.
